I was Recommended to go Little China Chinese Restaurant by a Coworker. So one day I was out and about and decided to go in. Looking from the outside you wouldn't think anything of it. The cashier took my order and I waited at 20min for it to come out. I ordered a large house fried rice and it was delicious. They packed the container to the top. It was so surprising to see that it was so much shrimp in it and even more surprising to see that when I woke up from my nap my children ate the rest of it.

This is our go-to place! We always happen to order on busy nights so be prepared to wait. Great prices for lots of food which has been fresh and yummy.

Have lived here for 8 years and had never been here. A few months ago a friend came to visit wanted to go out for Chinese. Looked at the reviews figured we would try it out. WOW!!! Wish I had tried them long ago, GREAT food, very friendly. They are alway busy but service is always quick and friendly never feeling rushed.

I really like this place. It's just a traditional Americanized Chinese restaurant that does basic, good food. I've been there several times for lunch, and I usually get the chicken and broccoli made spicy. It comes with pork fried rice and soup. I wish you could get steamed rice or brown rice, but no luck. The hot and sour soup is very good. Free pot of hot tea every visit. Staff is generally accommodating. Best of three Chinese restaurants I've tried in the area so far.

Our party of four tonight got very good food, very good service and all for a very good price. My family and I have been going to little china for over ten years, we have never been disappointed with either eat in or carry out. Dining room is small but cozy and always busy.

Out of the 2,000+ times I've eaten Chinese food, this is the worst. This supposed gem... BLOWS. The dishes are drenched in sauces that all taste the same. We got the egg foo young for my fiancé and it was all jammed in one pint container with the sauce mixed in (its supposed to be on the side). The dumplings had minimal filling, the fried rice is was over cooked and drenched in soy sauce. Please find any other place to get your take out from! The worst part of it is, they don't even deliver. You have to drive to get this terrible excuse for Chinese food. P.S. my fiancé says this is the worst food he's ever eaten...ever.

Very solid old school American-Chinese--a cuisine that takes me back to my childhood eating at the other side of town at the Golden Dragon. Wonton soup was really good with a dark salty broth dotted with scallions and roast pork. (The wontons didn't seem to be stuffed with anything.) These have the thick, yellow, wrappers of the old school version. I was told the egg drop soup was excellent. (Not an egg eating person so couldn't try.) Eggroll was disappointing. Was looking for fat eggroll with crispy bubbly skin and this wasn't it. Filling was standard. Chicken chow mein (or what we call CCM in our house) was a winner, although they used those big flat crunch noodles and not chow mein noodles. Not much of a fried rice fan but Little China's was great. The roast pork and veg dish was fine, but not at the same level as the CCM. Incredibly reasonable prices. Will be back when the desire for American-Chinese food returns!

This is our go-to Chinese food place. I admit, we initially went here because it was near by but we ended up sticking with it. This restaurant offers sit down and take out. However, I must sing the praises of their take out. Any time we call our order is ready within 20 minutes. No one can complain about quick service like that. The woman at the front desk always double checks your order in the bag to make sure it's correct. As far as the food goes, the food is exactly what you would expect. Hot Chinese food with all the flavors that hit all right cravings. Chinese food is often ordered for nights of TV binging. There is only one item on the menu that seems a little inconsistent to me: egg drop soup. There have been times when it has been amazing and times where it has tasted very bland. However, the other items on the menu we have ordered have been consistently of great flavor and quality. If you are looking for a place for Chinese food, Little China is worth your time to check out.

Have been going for years. Love the service you get from the moment you step in the door. Fried rice is so good, you won't even need soy sauce. Egg rolls taste fresh and homemade. Is a more expensive then most Asian food in area, but well worth the money. They don't deliver, which I wish they did but carry out only takes a short 15 minutes. Very satisfied.

To be honest I have no idea what people see in this place I went here because of all the positive reviews and picked up some lunch off their lunch special menu and took it home. Beef and Broccoli Lunch Combo The beef was flavorless and covered in a salty mess of a sauce and I counted them there were five small pieces of beef and over 20 pieces of soggy disintegrating broccoli. If I was to guess I would say this dish was premade and heated up. The fried rice tasted like it was cooked two days ago then soaked in soy sauce until served. I will say the egg drop soup though incredibly salty was nearly edible. Egg Rolls I got an order to go with lunch and they were burned a dark brown and the only flavor was grease. The internal portion tastes like what you get from a cheap grocery stores freezer section. Fried Dumplings The outside of these can be described best as almost okay.... Then you bite in and realize it is rubber chicken meat, at least that is my best guess. Needless to say this meal resides in my garbage can and I got McDonalds yes I would rather go there than here any day of the week.

Has progressively gone downhill... At today's visit there were shells in my shrimp lo mien and my rice was stuck together. Don't think I'll be back for a while.

Best place to get Chinese food and it's inexpensive. I have been going here over 6 years my aunt and uncle have been going for 30 years. The food is remarkable and the service impeccable. I love the garlic chicken and the wonton soup. A must go.

To me the only decent Chinese anywhere around the area. It's worth the drive to pick it up. Delicious every time .

LOVE their Egg Foo Yong and Shrimp Char Har Kew. Crab wontons and eggrolls are always consistently fried: crispy and not too greasy. Service is always fast and friendly. The dine-in lunch specials are simply unbeatable for the price. Portion sizes are generous and filling, they do NOT skimp on the meats and seafood.

Absolutely the best Chinese food EVER!! I'm glad they don't deliver because I would be broke, so the food is definitely worth the drive and wait. I'm a person of habit so I always get the same things so I can say the wonton soup, crabmeat fried wontons, chicken and broccoli, shrimp lo mein, vegetable lo mein are so the best in the world!!!

Whenever I'm in the mood for carry out Chinese Little China is our go-to place! My husband and I have tried numerous dishes here and have been pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything is. I'm a sucker for the fried crabmeat wontons ( there's just something about having fried dough with cream cheese-like filling that satisfies the fatty-food side of me); also ask for a side of extra sweet and sour sauce for dipping. I also work a few blocks away, which makes this the best Chinese place in the area to order lunch from sometimes. My order is always correct, never anything missing and I've always had great service. Thanks for being such a great Chinese staple in our Middle River community.

Little China is good, consistent and warm. I like that they give you tea and crispy noodles after you order. I really like their chicken and broccoli dish. Definitely give Little China a shot as they don't have the "same" approach to Chinese food that you've come to expect from many MD carryout/delivery restaurants.

Due to the sit down more restaurant than take out feel to the place I expected the food a little better and more expensive than the typical Chinese restaurant. Price was fair but food was ehhh. I got the dinner deal which comes with a soup, and dessert which was a nice deal. Soup was decent, but the main course was another story. There was too much sauce and too much salt used. I was pounding down glasses of water after another. Just too much sodium. I have had better Chinese elsewhere. Service was good though, although the language barrier got me 'pumpkin' ice cream and not the 'pomegranate' ice cream I thought she had said haha

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
